Snorkeling

If you're not a fan of diving into the deep, you can always go snorkelling! The benefit of snorkelling is that Maldives
has over 1000 islands rich with corals, fish and marine life. Each location has its own charms and offers a range of

and you don't have to be a good swimmer to go snorkelling.

Maldives

Diving

from beginner-friendly to intermediate waves. The surf zones are divided into 3 main areas which are southern atolls,

something slightly extreme in comparison to SUP and kayaks, Jet Skiis are always an option. The brightside of these
water activities in Maldives is because the water is so clear for you to see what is swimming right underneath the
board. You could find yourself surrounded by sharks, turtles and beautiful corals. The best part is that most resorts
offer a water activities centre where you can rent the boards from.

Visit a Sandbank

Sandbanks are pretty much scattered all across the Maldives and these are one of the common excursions offered by most
of the resorts and hotels in the Maldives. You can spend your day exploring white sandbanks in the middle of blue
pristine waters. Make sure to bring snorkelling equipment, books and a towel for a great tan session or a cozy picnic on
the beach. Typically these excursions can last up to 5 hours and it is usually inclusive of light snacks and beverages,
snorkelling equipment, local tax and boat transfers.

Fishing
